Raising your children the right way!
It is inevitable that most parents will have to leave the care of their child to another person because they need to attend to work or other similar task. So choosing the right caregiver is essential. But if you already have a caregiver but you feel uncomfortable in his or her techniques in childcare, then it is important for you to look for signs from your child to determine if the caregiver should be retained or fired.
Children are too young to know that something is wrong; sometimes they simply assume that the way they are treated is the right way even though they are not being cared for. As a parent, you should look out for changes in your child’s mood or behavior. Changes can indicate his unhappiness or his frustrations.
If you notice that your child is suffering from any cut or bruise, seek an explanation from the caregiver immediately. But if this occurs more than once, file a complaint if you can prove that your child has been mistreated. There are a lot of agencies which will be more than happy to help you with your situation but if the situation is serious, contact the police or the social services department so you can be guided accordingly.
Being a parent can be challenging, so on my blog TodaysParent I hope that I will be able to provide some parenting insights from one parent to another.
