Raising your children the right way!
Physical activities undeniably have a lot of health benefits for a new mother. It helps the heart, muscles, and lungs become healthier and stronger. You will develop more stamina and have more energy from exercising regularly. Regular exercise also controls stress and releases a hormone called endorphin; this hormone makes you feel good about yourself.
But it is also important for a new mother not to exert themselves a few days after giving birth. It is recommended for them to gradually begin with low level exercise and increase this to moderate exercise once they feel better. Remember that it you had episiotomy, you need to determine if you can comfortably sit and stand before doing any kind of vigorous exercise.
Just like other people, new mothers will be more likely to engage in activities that are easy and convenient for them. So you need to find an exercise you really enjoy while being suitable for your current physical condition as well. Most new mothers start by taking long walks outside the house with their babies but you can also engage in fun exercises that stretch your muscles and tones your body. Involving your baby in your exercises can also help strengthen the bond between the two of you.
